Absolutely thrilled with this. Really wanted a 3GS to run a particular app. Did not want to pay apple new price, nor gamble with the lottery that is fleabay. I needed an unlocked phone so I could maintain my £10 a month contract with unlimited data rather than get locked in for 24m

I was genuinely delighted with the product received, no discernible scratches. Ordered late on friday, received monday (great). Had it charging and synced within minutes of unboxing.

Very happy customer, may now buy one for the wife as well!!

Did a lot of research before purchasing. This site was the only website I could find that gave me the confidence to buy a refurbished iPhone. The site made it clear as to what to expect regards the quality of the phone and appearance (possible scratches etc) of a manufacturer refurbished iPhone.

Delivery was very quick within two days (would have been next day if I had not missed deadline) and I received emails from total PDA.

Only thing that had worried me about the purchase was when I received an email stating that my purchase was a grade B refurb. However, on opening my iPhone which was in official 3GS apple box, the phone was perfect. It really did look new. No scratches, just very minor marks which were on noticeable if you studied the phone up close. Very shiny and new looking with a perfect screen.

In the box I also received a charge cable. No headphones but this is stated before purchase.

Naturally, when you purchase a refurb model, you may worry that you have done the right thing. An obvious concern when buying an unlocked iPhone is if you will be able to get it to work okay on your current networks sim. My sim was with "three" and I had read reports on the Internet that some people had trouble gaining settings to go on the Internet.

The good news is as long as you are on the latest iOS 4.2, your phone will automatically recognise three and all the relevant settings. My iPhone arrived, with 4.2 already loaded but if required, iTunes would load latest software if required.

As for the phone itself, it is an amazing bit of kit. Bye, bye Nokia. Build quality is fab and I purchased a leather flip cover to protect the phone and its screen. Only issue is the known problem that battery drains quick but, I had to charge my old Nokia every day even when it was not used (other than switched on).

Well worth the cost purchasing outright to avoid extreme charging from network providers wanting upwards of £35 a month for a two year contract.
